Rent a paddleboard, try windsurfing, go kitesurfing or sail away in a canoe. There are many opportunities to try water activities in North Jutland.

In several places in North Jutland, you can try your hand at standup paddle surfing (SUP). It's a sport that has become very popular over the past few years - and with good reason. It's for people of all ages and abilities. It's easy to get started and it doesn't take long to learn how to keep your balance.
It brings elements of both sailing and surfing into play. You stand on a surfboard with a sail. We recommend starting in a confined/closed area, but if you're experienced, it can be done on lakes, in the fjord and on the open sea.
There are excellent windsurfing opportunities at Cold Hawaii, along the west coast and in the Limfjord.

This is a slightly more advanced water sport than windsurfing. When the wind is blowing, the conditions are favourable for kitesurfing as you use a large kite suspended in the air to harness the power of the wind to propel you forward. Anyone can learn to kitesurf, but it takes practice, and at first you should practice in calmer water.
A canoe trip can be both relaxing and a great workout at the same time. Here you can let yourself glide along in the water while taking in the beautiful nature around you. It's a unique opportunity to experience varying landscapes.
Canoes can be hired at Uggerby Å and Voer Å.
