Palmestranden in Frederikshavn
A must-visit beach if you are near Frederikshavn is, of course, Palmestranden. The beautiful palm trees that line the beach and sway in the wind create a tropical summer atmosphere that you won't find anywhere else in Denmark.
The beach has the Blue Flag, which means lifeguards in high season and clean water conditions. There is also a volleyball court, playground, handball courts and more.
