Nature camping close to Skagen
When you park your caravan or motorhome with us, you also park your house, garden and city. You move from city to nature, and what nature!
The nature in and around Skagen Sydstrand Camping is very special. It consists of dunes, forests, beaches and of course the amazing sea. In addition, you have Denmark's only 'desert' within walking distance. Just 6 kilometres from our campsite you'll find Råbjerg Mile, ready to impress you with sand as far as the eye can see. And that's not something you're used to seeing in Denmark.
In addition to Råbjerg Mile, you will of course find Grenen. North of Skagen lies the tip of Skagens Odde, where two oceans meet in a wave battle. The Kattegat and Skagerrak meet, and it's possible to get a close-up view. Grenen itself consists of deposited sand and gravel, and it is possible to reach the tip with the 'Sandormen', which has been travelling with curious souls for more than 50 years.
In addition to the many spectacular attractions, the area itself offers peace of mind for the nature lover. Here you can let the sea fill your horizon, breathe the fresh sea air deep into your lungs and just be. Skagen Sydstrand Camping is nature camping at its best!
