You can safely take your children to the quiet sandy beach right next to the campsite. The water is calm and there are very few stones in the water and on the beach itself.
In addition to the fine sandy beach, you can venture further out into nature via the surrounding hiking trails and experience Råbjerg Mile, which is within walking distance of the campsite.

It's also a good idea to get on your bike and head out on some of the beautiful cycle routes that characterise the area around the campsite. All in all, North Jutland is a very bike-friendly region to spend your holiday in.
For example, it's only 14 kilometres to Skagen, so you can cycle all the way to the Church of Our Lady of Peace without having to cross a single road on the way there. Along the 14 kilometres, you can enjoy the beautiful natural landscapes that are very special and characteristic of North Jutland.
